NOOO! They added a new battle theme and removed the old one. I just can't imagine what other songs they removed, and what other pop music they will add in this game. Screw this remake.

.....i know you have to reduce graphics for the PSP.... but damn..... the graphics for the school are really good.... but the battle..... damn.... *sigh* i know im a graphics whore :/

Considering the game was originally released for the PSOne, it's actually an upgrade to the graphics.

But original Persona was a PlayStation game, and PSP is much more powerful than PS. So no, you don't have to 'reduce graphics' for PSP. Nice try.

OP was complaining about soundtrack changes - and I hate when that happens as well.

Was the battle theme the same for the Japanese and US versions of the game?

Lol i wasnt trying to do anything... I just remember the game in a better lite is all... i just looked at some old footage and you are right.... i guess it didnt age well in my mind :/

I'm gonna buy this. I'm starting to like Persona games, and this one coming is just perfect :)
And... nooo, Mark doesn't have a funny pic anymore. With that kinda like workers hat and had tilted head, he pwned, haha. edit: nvm, its just the NTSC version that had that pic. Same with main char. I like original one more than red haired one though.

The graphics and the new battle interface looks good, but the music. The first Persona is dark, and these new songs don't fit very well with the game. I can't take this game seriously now.
