Resident Evil 5 DLC adds new online multiplayer modes

PS3 owners of Resident Evil 5 will find a special surprise waiting for them when comparing their Trophy info with friends. Capcom has (accidentally?) revealed information about the game's upcoming DLC through newly uploaded Trophies. The DLC appears to introduce a number of new online modes: Slayers, Survivors, Team Slayers, Team Survivors and Versus. It's not exactly clear what these modes entail, but they appear to be competitive modes. "Team Survivors" gives us hope that Capcom is working on a co-operative mode inspired by Resident Evil Outbreak Left 4 Dead.

Silver Trophies
	The Team That Slays Together... Win 30 matches in Team Slayers.
	We Will Survive Win 30 matches in Team Survivors.
	Bringing the Pain Defeat 100 players using physical attacks in Versus.
Bronze Trophies
	Army of One Win 30 matches in Slayers.
	Eye of the Tiger Win 30 matches in Survivors.
	Keep the Good Times Rolling Chain a 20-defeated combo in Slayers.
	It Takes Two to Tango Chain a 40-defeated combo in Team Slayers.
	It's All About the Points Score at least 40,000 points in Survivors.
	There's no "I" in Team Score at least 80,000 points in Team Survivors.
	Let's Get This Party Started! Unlock all selectable characters in Versus.

This right here made it a first day pick up on my PS3!

Interesting, but Capcom letting DLC details emerge before the retail release of the game has happened again, which pisses me off even more. At least this DLC isn't like with Street Fighter IV with DLC costumes, which are a ripoff. I might actually think about picking this game up at some point in time...

As long as the DLC is free, I'm fine with it. I'm not going to pay for some stupid extra's.

damn i thought we wouldnt have to go online to get all the trophies for re5 they dont sound 2 hard so ill give them a try

i was asking it as a ? will 360 also get these modes and extra achievments the artilce says PS3 and trophies

oh yeah i hope that we dont have to get those online trophies to get are platinum one since the original trophy list with the platinum was made up months ago didnt require u to do these online ones
