... Can't even make it to 10.... I do generally like JRPG's though. I know why my list is barren though. To this day, I have yet to find a final fantasy game I like. And I hate the art style for dragon quest. They all look like dragon ball, and.... I just don't like it.

Why do you like ToS over ToV? Did you not see the video I put up of Yuri kicking Kratos's ass

 

I felt the story was much more fleshed out, and the side quests were much more accesible, etc, etc. I loved the art and battle system of ToV, but ToS was my first time experiencing a tales game, so it will remain much more memorable.

And Kratos is cooler than Yuri. Sorry. That video.... Along with the other fabrications on youtube Never happened. ._.;....

Much cooler. Sorry. The wings were frikin awesome and his judgment outfit was siiiiiiiick.

His awesome hairstyle doesn't hurt either.

I'm not Saying Yuri's not cool because he really is. Just not like Kratos. AFAIK, Kratos>Yuri..... (Judith>Yuri too... And Judith... And Rita... And Sheena for that matter.... You should know why...)

 

Your going to say Kratos is cooler because of his damn wings?!!!!!!!

Judith is fine as hell and a great character with a great back story but that does not mean she is cooler then Yuri Lowell. I think you are going to have to play ToV again. You are reminding me of Shadowblind when he said SO4 was better then ToV.

 

Can we just kind of pretend that never happened? I'm not exactly proud of it -_-;

 



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

BTW, do you know where I can find some good Tales of Vesperia Renders? My sig is getting old, and planetrenders only has a few. @linkthe2nd: Turns out it takes more to sway me away from my all time favoitre JRPG then I thought at first. As time goes by I learn more and more how much detail and care was put into vesperia, and while So4 is amazing, Vesperia eats it alive.

I also agree with g-value; I think Yuri > Jade > Kratos. Kratos was awesome, but Jade Curtess was simply too funny and awesome at the same time, while Yuri is badass, funny, awesome, and has a kickass samurai outfit. Kratos is the best Tales character prior to Abyss imo though, and a fantastic characte

Judith is DAMN fine. Rita's spells are AMAZING. Sheena's just great. Kratos? Why... He's cooler than the other side of the pillow.

Family guy aside, he is a lot more than just the wings. He can pull the whole mercenary thing off, he can also be like an angel, and his fighting style with magic and swords were awesome. His whole betrayal and awkward reunion with the party afterwards was great. PLUS he comes out with the whole "I am your father"  thing. Plus he can cast Judgment.

Frankly, I only started thinking Yuri was badass and cool after he murders Ragou.

The whole "The law may have let you get away, but I certainly won't" made me like him a lot more. And the part where he got his ass kicked by the rest of the party for trying to go solo made me lol.

If you think that is nice just check out how great this PS1 classic looks on a PS2 and think of it on a PS3 with not just smoothing, but with upscaling as well.

Talk about a game pushing the PS1 to it's limits.

Oh you better not be. I'm sure you've heard this before, but you had a heavy influence on me buying a 360 for ToV a while back. And I haven't looked back.

Kingdom Hearts 2 (Loved the first but this game expanded on everything that was great!)

Xenosaga 1 (hated the second and never touched the 3rd)

I love the genre but have never played

Any Tales game
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy 1-3 5-6 Playing 4 now on the DS
Never played a Breath of fire game

I have a very limited amount of time but if any of you can suggest a great RPG that is easy to get ahold of and somewhat cheap...
