I hear his name here a lot, but I don't really know much about him. From what I keep hearing though, it sounds like he's the Rush Limbaugh of gaming.

   You're half right.  Nintendo made Wii games perhaps are In and Out (which if you have one is probably the best fast food resturaunt acording to most people, cheap too)

   I don't think he's talking about Zelda or Metroid Prime which most people would agree are pretty good games.  I think he is talking about the non Nintendo produced Wii market, in particular new franchises.

   In that case no, the Wii market is not quality.  Nintendo games on the Wii are mainly quality as is almost always the case across all their systems.  He's talking about the disposable crap that infests the non Nintendo made part of the Wii wall at your local Gamestop.  On that he's 95% right.  There are a handful of good 3rd party games (RE4, Boom Blox, Madworld ect) but the vast majority is just totally disposable crap that has migrated over from the Playstation 2 where it used to live.  It's really a cost of being the number 1 console in part.  To be fair though, the PS2 had really good 3rd party games which sold better then any of the shovelware.  GTA3, Final Fantasy X ect weren't made by Sony but sold like gangbusters so it wasn't AS true of the PS2, while almost all 3rd party games on the Wii are not very good at all.  Quality is just not rewarded on the Wii other then in the case of 1st party games.
