The Behemoth reveals artwork for latest game, hat robot cries

Above is the first glimpse of The Behemoth's latest project, an as-yet unannounced game that should be revealed in full very soon. In fact, the studio is suggesting that before the date of March 18, the very first trailer will make itself known. Until then, all we have is this above image, which says very little, but is still undeniably cute.

A robot in a hat looks longingly at a gem while tears fall from his eyes. Behind him are other, more sinister robots, and what may be a cash register is also in shot. Obviously the videogame is about a robot who wants to buy jewelry, but cannot afford it. Probably. We don't know. 

It's really cute though, right? Look at the cute little robot!

Tokyo Anime Fair and Game #3 stuffs!

Hello there world,

As the duly appointed “Mayor of Behemothtown“, I am making my first dev blog post!

In an effort to reach out to our Japanese fans, John, Dan and Emil will be flying off to Tokyo next week and will represent The Behemoth at Tokyo Anime Fair March 20th and 21st at booth H-10. We will be showcasing Castle Crashers, Alien Hominid, and… an uber-early version of Game #3!

So if you happen to be in Tokyo, stop on by!!

Emil will (hopefully) be updating the Dev Blog throughout the trip, and if our shiny new video camera works, maybe he will even post videos of their adventures!

Just a few days before (March 18th), we will also be revealing our first ever trailer for our next game right here on the Dev Blog. By popular request, here is something to whet your appetite in the meantime:

I'm still waiting for my Behemoth SHMUP game. They should revolutionize the genre like they did with their last two games. ^^



Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Do you mean SHMUP game as in Gradius and R-Type because Alien Hominid is already a take on the Contra-like SHMUP games.

Yeah, SHMUP game as in Gradius, R-Type, Star Soldier, Einhänder, Donpachi, Soukyugurentai, etc.

In other words, games where u shot aliens and dont afraid of anythin. o_O
