Couldn't have done it without you, btw, Squilliam.

You ATI fanboy bastard.

Nvidiot!!!!

hey now, Nvidia is now going to make processors which means things will get even more interesting in the PC market. You should support all 3 camps at the same time like me even if you have soome biased towards specific ones.

Care to tell me where Intel let them use X86?

Btw, it was a joke.

who says Nvidia needs Intel's sockets... they can make their own....

and i figured sicne it would have been blantant disregard to the rules here. It was just useful to mention the oddness of the PC hardware market in the coming years.

If they aren't allowed to make an X86 CPU how exactly can they make a CPU? :-/

how does AMD make CPUs? Do they license from Intel?

Yep its exactly that.

Congrats on the new god-machine. Love that new PC smell.

Dawn of War 2 looks good. If you've never played number 1 I highly recommend trying the new one out. Iit's the only strategy game I've ever played where your mechs actually squeeze infantry soldiers until their heads pop off... or pick them up and slice them in half -- depending on how they're feeling, presumably. I've actually watched replays of my online battles from the first one just because it looks so awesome and was so much fun! I haven't done that with a strategy game since... Myth! Bungie's old RTS series with molotov cocktail-chuckking dwarves. Oh, the memories.

p.s.

I love that there had to be a mention of killzone 2 down there.
It's great that a year and a half after its release, it seems Crysis has finally come into its own. . .
It's the game you bring up when killzone 2 makes the grass look greener on the other side!

Yeah, that link you gave me was interesting, but it only really applies to netbooks and handhelds it seems.

Can you provide some screens of the games and what they look like on your rig.

Nice job there.

I would have grabbed an HD 4870 instead because its just as good and I support the underdog but you did pretty well.

The HD 4670 (I presume) the card you have runs really well, but at lower resolution due to lacking a faster memory architecture but computationally its the best price/performance in its price bracket.

yer ATI GPU and AMD CPU, can't go wrong.

you need to run it on very high before you pwn crysis. It also looks a lot better on very high :p it shouldn't be a problem with the specifications. Pretty nice rig. In particular the graphics card.

Check out my game about moles ^

Don't listen to those people telling you that your cable management is bad or that you have poor heat flow, ZenfoldorVGI. Here are a few glamour shots of my box:

Runs Crysis.

By the way, I like everything but your choice of keyboard :/.

Currently playing: Wii Fit / The Sims 3

Try  PrizeRebel , it could make you  rich ! I have  $15.80 USD  so far. I  love  BengaBenga' Most Wante lists.

You should have bought an antec case with an antec power supply instead of a random power supply.

It would have avoided the messy cables problem. Seing your pics reminded me why I don't want to look inside a PC anymore.

PC people, my advice, whatever you put in your comp, buy a good expensive case! You'll keep it longer than most of the parts of the the comp.
It's really important, a good case reduce noise, heating and avoid finger cuts (those who already put their hands in cheap case will understand).

Antec kicks ass.
