Okay, this doesn't really apply to PS3 exclusives, because they will most likely be optimized for using blu-ray, meaning they fill it up. Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction filled it up, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune filled it up, and both LittleBigPlanet and Metal Gear Solid 4 went with duallayered discs.
But we also know that many games that are multiplatform, have space to spare because they are designed around streaming from DVD.
So, a couple of days ago, I thought of why developers let that space fall to waste. They are paying for it after all, and the only games I know utilizing this extra space are Dead Space and C&C: Red Alert 3 Ultimate Edition.
Dead Space had demoes for other EA games on the disc (I had on my NTSC disc at least), and Red Alert 3 is packing the disc with extras. The extra demoes are of course there to make people try the games, and hopefully score EA some extra sales, and Red Alert 3 is a console RTS and also a late port, it is going to need all the attraction it can get.
So, why do so few developers utilize blu-ray? The obvious thing to do, would be to at least put some demoes of other games published by the publisher, but in the case of Red Alert 3, where you have all this extra material lying around (only previously released with the limited edition of the PC version released in North America and also extra maps released as DLC on other platforms), giving the game more appeal can be good for sales.
What else could developers do to fill up the blu-ray more?

But I only think it will work with movies and their associated games on it. Like a Riddick-combo, or Ghostbusters. Not to mention all the moviebased games coming out all the time
