This is the new racing game coming from Black Rock Studios, who were behind Pure, the ATV offroad racing game from last year.

I wasn't really excited about Pure, because when it comes to offroad racing, I'm still all over Motorstorm, but Black Rock still proved that they know what they are doing.

The trailer also shows drivers triggering events on the map, like collapsing bridges and such, which I think could turn into a really fun mechanic if they get it right. So while Pure wasn't on my radar when it came out, I am definitely excited about Split/Second!

It could be good.

I like that Black Rock seems to be going for the Burnout style, it makes the game even more promising

at least something different than just be the first !
the idea of the road can kill you is perfect, and make the tension at new level !


I just hope the graphism are the level of the trailer and not CGI !
