they also forgot to say that the psn is free and since the game becomes a better experience wen playing online thats where most will be playing it and it a good feeling knowing that i can enjoy online or offline for free only on the ps3..... for now

You made a good decision here. Excellent purchase choice. XBox 360 Arcade is only $200

£159 360 pro plus 1 month xbox live free (3 months if you create multiple accounts)........ problem solved and lots of money saved too due to not having to shell out £289 for a ps3

Hell, even paying for live for 3 years is cheaper....... £35 x 3 + £159 = £264

well thats in EU the price WW are i little diffrent 360 is the cheapest in EU the pro is even cheaper than the wii there its not like that in other regions and i kind of meant for people who own both consoles i don't think many are going to buy a 360 or ps3 just for RE5

the reason Y the 360 got so cheap in Others b/c last year the ps3 was outselling it and around March the 360 made a price cut there to try and revearse it it was unable to revearse it even whith that march price cut so they dicided to cut it again only 5 mounths later in August to finnaly make the pro cheaper than even the wii it's not like that ww the pro cost more than the wii in NA and JP

This doesn't change my decision, since I was going to buy the 360 version anyway since I prefer the controller for shooters.

I'm going 360 because I have a headset for that console and my best friend is 360 only.

I noticed that they said the PS3 version loads a little faster than the 360 version (1-2 seconds). I wonder if the 360's loading time is faster if the disk is saved to the 360 Hard Drive.

Well, if you own both consoles and subscribe to live (if not ps3 is the choice to make) then i guess it comes down to which network you have most buddys on, if you like both consoles equally then logically you would go with the 360 version due to it having better graphics and less framerate issues.

Yeah, I don't really understand the necessity of this. It was different in the 16-bit days, when there was a significant difference between multiplatform games (i.e.: Mortal Kombat on SNES vs. Genesis. SNES had way better graphics, but no blood).

But it seems like almost every multiplatform game this generation has only had negligible differences that would only really matter to obsessive internet users with too much time on their hands to loudly spout their opinion to complete strangers.

Anyway, OT:

Again, who cares if this game loads 1 second faster on the PS3 or maintains five frames better on the 360 version.  Buy the version of the game that you want to get, these stupid comparisons that show they're essentially the same are so annoying. 

Anyway, I'm getting the PS3 version for the free online since I only have XBL silver now.
