Pretty much the entire studio is seeing it at lunch today, I hope it's good considering I'm going to be sitting there watching it for the entire three hour movie.

I haven't read the novel (been meaning to for years) so if I remember I'll post back when I'm done.

Just got out of the shower, NOW i'm going to go see it. I'd be very interested to hear what you think of it twesterm, seeing as how you haven't read the novel. I think it would be interesting to see if it holds up for a guy who doesn't know much about it.
