Vgchartz is usually spot on when it comes to game sales but when it comes to these Hunting/Fishing/Nature games I'm pretty sure they are all undertracked. I enjoy these games a lot myself and I know it is of no error of Vgchartz part.

The main thing is that these games probably are not tracked very well cause they are mostly sold at Outdoor/Fishing shops. These sales probably never reach the places that track game sales. I was at my local Cabela's playing the game stations they have set up and noticed that someone picked up a copy of a game every 5-10 minutes or so. Mostly the Wii versions though. The sales on the site do not reflect these numbers at all and the games must take some money to develop because the graphics are always decent to pretty good and tight controls. The Cabela games are usually pretty fun to play as well and must be somewhat of a success because they always release new games all the time. Also the fishing game on iPhone sales pretty good from what I heard.


Has anyone else besides me notice this at all?

This one seems a lot higher though.. So perhaps Cabela's isn't the most popular?

I see what your saying and I was only using Cabela games as an example. I also checked this one out and the sales might be even higher from places like Bass Pro Shop. I just think all the games of the kind are undertracked but can very from small to large numbers from this. This is by no means Vgchartz fault as it may be harder to track sales for games like these.

Most places, specially around the country side of the US have these games even in Targets, Wallmarts, Gamestops, and ect. But sales from outdoor places might not be tracked. but of coarse I can be wrong ;)
