Why are people saying it looks bad?

Looks beautiful(I know this is probably CGI right?)

No one is saying that it looks bad. We're saying that it's not something the 360 can't handle.

You are claiming gears looks better. I don't think it does. He looks very life like. You can see his pours. The hair is beautifully rendered. Its just overall better the gears IMO

All I got to say is Push It to the Limit

eww Colin Bleu? Why didn't you use the original "Push it to the limt" from scarface?

CORBIN Bleu. God, know your Disney actors/actresses... Am I the only one who watches the Disney Channel on here??

Anyways, games come and go and can push a console to its limits, whether it's game-play, graphics or the hardware's processing ability (disc reading speed). In any case, that game does look really neat.

Of course it looks better than gears in that movie, but i'm saying it's not something the 360 couldn't handle. Tekken 6 in game in the arcade version doesn't have better graphics than gears. That Video quality was much higher quality than the actually Tekken 6 video.

This thread is great. All kinds of fun comments from the fanboy peanut gallery, as they cling on to their beliefs.

I wish we could have an honest poll of how many people actually read the article, and understood what the Tekken 6 guy was talking about, like I did, though.

^^ lol seriously, you can't have something like this without it turning into Console War #90762769073.

These comments have been relatively tame, though. If you want more severe fanboy syndrome, take a trip over to N4G.

I haven't seen any fanboy drama here. . . If you say I am being a fanboy, read everything again. I am merely going off of what each console can do.

Oh and that is from a CGI scene? I thought it was. Still though the screens I see are great.

(Should fighters have the best graphics? i mean they do have the least amount of stuff needed on screen for the card to work with. 60 FPS seems easy to obtain compared to an FPS or something.)

I wasn't referring to you, Sharky54.  You're not the goofiest poster in the thread by a longshot, although the discussion has strayed an awful long way from the reasons the Tekken 6 guy was making his statement.

The scenes you posted are almost assuredly pre-rendered, btw.  Neither console could do such a thing in a gameplay environment, at a decent framerate, unless the game was a new genre... the "watch the face" genre, where not much else happens.

I kind of figured it was pre rendered, still thats one fucking sexy looking pre rendered race lol.

I love CGIs, I would cream my jeans every time I watched one on the PS2. Always been my favorite parts of games. I enjoy watching beautiful things. It is a shame that most games got rid of the CGI cutscene to show off how great their in game graphics are.
