I have an interest in the Empires versions of the Dynasty Warriors series.  I like the idea of a strategic map level to the game.  Well, seeing that Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 is set to come out, I was wondering if Koei might think of doing a Gundam version of it.  In it, you have strategic level over different factions in the Gundam universe and it would play out like the Empires series.

There was a PC game called "Mech Lords" that was supposed to come out, but got cancelled.  This may be as close as we can get to it.

Anyone else interested in this?

Yeah, it would be cool, but I would only buy it if it done correctly, I wouldnt want to buy a mediocre gundam game even if I love the gundam wing series. But done correctly= epic win.

I want a strategic level game involving mechs.  So, make it a good game regarding this, and have Gundam mechs in it.

Sounds like a pretty sweet idea. And I've been surprised to see DW Gundam 2 getting some pretty good reviews, including an 8/10 from Eurogamer. People are usually so harsh on Koei's crowd combat type games, so this one might really be special (and I already like their usual fare).
