Forums - Nintendo - Deadly creatures question

*possible spoilers*

Besides galleries, are there any unlockables in the game?

Is collecting all 450 grubs just related to the galleries?

The combat in this game is the strong point, I wish it had a mode where you did just battling....something horde-esque or mercenaries-esque

anybody?

i dk, still haven't bought it

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Nope......theres nothing. You unlock the galleries and....thats it. Still a pretty good game though.

I haven't unlocked all the galleries yet, but they seem to be the only thing.

I beat the game and haven't touched it since, except for playing the first 2 levels in Deadly mode. It's a good game, but not exceptional. I had a good time, but I don't feel compelled to try it again, though I eventually will.

Add me for Pokemon, New Leaf, and Fire Emblem, Mario Kart 8.

I just started playing it, personally. My Wii makes a semi-horrid drive-seeking (seek, seek... seek seek seek seek seeseek... I wish it would stop) sound while playing... is that normal, or is my Wii in bad shape?

^^ hey you know i was wondering the same thing. Mine does it too

Dam this game doesn't really have much replay value does it....i mean the majority of the game is tediously exploring a linear path giving you a headache...i probably won't play this game again, even on the hardest mode

The game is very load-heavy.... so if your Wii has a loud drive it can be annoying.

A loud drive can be indicative of a well used Wii.... but mine for instance didn't start to make noises until after I dropped it (about 30 cm onto carpet, but the disc was still in too)... and it has been getting steadily louder since then.

It's still not a distraction if you turn the volume up... but the problem with some games (my two being Endless Ocean and Deadly Creatures) is that they can have very quiet periods of gameplay, and if in a heavy loading area it isn't nice.

I am thinking of buying Brawl specifically because it might not work, so I might be able to send in my Wii to Nintendo, who will likely get it running smooth as silk.
