what does square want? Tomb Raider? Legacy of Kain?

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

most likely tomb raider and hitman, but the whole point is just to have a western expansion.

And we have another game giant!

Square was a giant even before they merged with Enix. Now, they're just even bigger.

Yep, they're after distribution channels and maybe Western development studios. Any IPs they get with the deal are just gravy. Eidos' intellectual property isn't especially valuable.

I'd not mind seeing another Legacy of Kane... perhaps a renewal of the game from the first one without all the BS involved and no Raziel(sp?). I think it's a good thing... SquarEnix can breath some new life and ideas into Eidos and vise-verse.
