no is an EPIC game. for me is not overrated.
FF VII was crap. Its just another terrible JRPG. So I think its overrated. (IMHO)

Yea it's overrated. No that really isn't my reasoning. But I do think it is overrated.

I don't accept the word "overrated" from the mouth of someone that game GATIV a 10.
Final Fantasy VII is the best game ever. As such, it is actually underrated.
I'd consider it maybe a little overrated. Without a doubt it was a great RPG, but I'd definitely not consider it the pinnacle of RPG's.
There are definitely a handful of RPG's that I hold in higher regard:
-FFIV & VI
-Chrono Trigger
-Earthbound
The only teeth strong enough to eat other teeth.
