If anyone recalls, the 160GB version is Limited Edition only.  According to Sony it is a test to see how consumers react. The 160GB in Europe is completely sold out, I don't know about America but if it is still out, soon no one will be able to find it.

I have decided to write this thread after seeing many posts saying about price cuts of the 80 and 160GB versions (how if the 160GB is limited edition) etc etc.

yeah i was thinking bout that myself i havent seen them at my walmarts that i shop at anymore but accourding to gamestop they still sell them OPEN ME

im sure there are there way out but how come we havent sen any news articles like wen the old 60g and 80g and 40g were discountinued

i think well see a ps3 at 299 this year

there were no articles cos we were told that it was a limited edition version available only for the shopping season

i never seen the 160g sold on its own only with uncharted

hmm, my 320GB special edition with BC is sold out, too ... sold all out to me though

There are tons of them in the at both Best Buy stores in my area
