Dear Lord there is a lot of must gets for me starting with "Punch Out!!" on the 18th.  Then we have "Boom Blox Bash Party" and "Virtua Tennis" on the 19th.  Then we have "The Conduit", "The Ghostbusters", "Let's Play", "Wii Sports Resort" and "Tiger Woods 2010 w/ WM+" in June.  Thank God my birthday is in June.  So I'll be able to get a few of those right away!

Gonna be a good year for Wii console - I have all 3 consoles and I reckon with the exception of RE5 then my PS3 and 360 aren't gonna get touched for months. I've just finished Deadly Creatures, got Wii Play pikmin on the go, haven't got round to world of Goo yet, have overkill unopened.

On top of that Madworld is just around the corner and Broken Sword (my favourite game ever) is on the horizon with the Conduit etc in the summer.

we all got very annoyed last year when Nintendo stated they were gonna lay low for a year and let the third party developers shine but one year on we are seeing the fruits of that decision as more and more third party wii games prove they have legs and quality is rising above.

none of those games seem like must-buys to me

I like the fact someone plans on supporting good games for the Wii... good stuff.

Wii sports resort? (unless you hated Wii sports, it is a must buy)

Punch out? (if you ever played the others you'd understand)

I know this thread wasn't about you being broke and more just mentioning how many potentially good games are coming to the Wii, but don't forget that most (if not all) of these games will have the exact same experience whether you buy them at full price on day 1 or half a year from now at half that. (No online for most of them).
