Killzone 2 is the best FPS ever, because it's a PS3 exclusive. The second best is Resistance 2. Don't hate, haters...

i stand with my statement. he said after a year wears off. that is a lie. I PLAYED GEARS 1 NON STOP FOR TWO YEARS, halo , cod came and i was still with my gears 1 and only stopped to play gears 2 when i found myself going back to gears 1 and then ultimately gears 2 left such a sour taste in my mouth that gears 1 wore off. and now i can say killzones is the best ever cause theres nothing thats gonna make me stop playing it, just like there was no stopping gears but gears itself. so when i say this is the best shooter ever i mean it and like gears this will bring me hrs of enjoyment for hopefuly years to come.

resistance 2 is ok. i bought it but killzone makes me regret buying it cause killzone its just so amazing. resistance co op fun, havent finish campaigh, and online multiplayer is ok. i have trouble now that ive seen the best looking game ever cause resistance 2 its multiplayer its ugly. but yeah killzone def wins!

The single player was amazing, but it was a bit short. I've still go to do some online. Personally, I don't think it is the best, but it's up there with the best.

I'll say its the best FPS currently available, and, if you look at the gaming scene from an absolute viewpoint, it is the best console FPS ever made.

However, if you look at gaming from a relative standpoint -- as if this was "still 2001" or whatnot, I'd have to say that there are plenty of other titles that made bigger splashes, and enthralled me more.

All those titles are long since retired though. Michael Jordan was the greatest... now he's old.

KZ2 is the greatest of the present day, for certain.

CGI quality. about two days ago i saw the interview scene for heavy rain. i didnt really know what it was. and it was EPIC. how innocent it starts and then it just gets so tense. gave me chills. amazing stuff. that was just outstanding.

I can't say yet, I'm getting the game tomorrow. my favorite FPSs right now are Half-Life 2 and Goldeneye 007.

 You will probably really really enjoy KZ2, your favorites of all time probably won't change.
