Halo 3: 1,000,000,000 Games And Counting

Halo 3's got a somewhat popular online component, and has had one since it launched (hey, it's Halo). Ever wonder how many multiplayer games that actually equates to, though? Try over one billion.

Yup, Bungie's near-OCD obsession with tracking numbers means that we now know that at 18:36 PT on February 28, a four-player Infection match was the one billionth played since the game's release in September 07.

If your obsession with numbers is on the same level as Bungie's, it'll scratch your itch to hear that those one billion games took 2,023,153,340,764 seconds to complete. Which adds up to 64,000 years.

One BILLION Served [Bungie]

The total seconds played doesn't even include custom games.

Got to say - any way you slice it, it's still impressive.

...All on PC. He means on console. XD

P.S. Battlefield's value went downhill after modern combat. 1942: Desert Combat was the best BF and will never be surpassed. The original CS was great, but Condition Zero killed it for me. I loved to Deagle people to death and knife.

MS made profit off of CS. Ain't that a kick in the ass?
