When Sev leaves the palace and the Helghast cruisers come into view, where did they come from? The ISA is supposed to have destroyed all Helghast ships in the opening waves of the attacks. So if the Helghast hid these cruisers, why not bring them out BEFORE you nuke your own capital to prevent it from falling into enemy hands? Surely they could have tried to save the capital?

Then again, they are interested in one thing: survival. It may not have been in their best interests to show all of their cards.

Thoughts/opinions on why it took the Helghast so long to get their war machine into the battle?

Is it possible Helghan isnt their only planet?

@ snyperdud, it is the only one that we know of, but I feel you are right, especially as it means that we could be fighting on other helghast controlled planets in the next game

They nuked their capital so that it would be a "day of mourning" for the ISA, they just wanted to hurt the ISA more than they cared about themselves, as far as I can tell

Didn't like the ending, nothing special about it, They thought that war was over, and they started seeing, helghast ship and your main guy took a break on stairs. At least we know that there's gonna be Killzone 3.

Visari was to Helghan what Sadamn Hussien was to Iraq after their assasanations the country goes into turmoil I guess they needed something to start KZ3 thats probably why we see helghan ships!!!

Yes. The ending is wide open and Guerilla have the perfect engine to make KZ3.
