Forums - Sony - i guess i will join the hype train

I have put my Cod 4 down for a while and i am currently downloading Killzone 2 demo.

lets see what all this hype is about.

hello how are you.

The demo isn't an accurate representation of the game - the games first few levels pale in comparison to the later ones. However, by playing the demo you will at least understand where the complaints about the controls are coming from although you do get used to them and eventually you may even come to love them.

-_- you guys are morrons and stupid ass hell..

for the damn last time the controlls are what everyshooters must have..
REALISTIC! you are feeling you are indeed carring a heavy gun instead of the call of duty'styll ( ow look how strong i am i can shoot incredible fast)
\ my god don't you guys never read stuff?

The SP is good but the MP is god awful.

Don't listen to him, he likes Resistance 2.

And why not just rent the game? Better than a crummy 5 minute demo that pales in comparison to the real thing.

Eh, I thought you'd put this to rest already. Have you ever held a gun? Heck, even any object, if it is heavy, it slows your running down but your reaction time and ability to swing your arms slightly to the left and right don't take as much of a toll (unless it's an extremely heavy object that you were barely able to carry in the first place, which is not a rifle of any sort).

If anything, Killzone 2 got it wrong in that it made the running relatively fast and the reaction time slow. Why? well, because of the fact that unless a human takes a full swing, momentum won't increase speed as much as the muscles in your body do, because of that, when you move your arms left and right (but not full swing/circle) it's usually going at the same pace, you don't start slow and move fast unless you intended to do so.

If you're in a war, you'd want to be able to move at the fastest speed possible if you want to turn your body from the waist up in a different direction, you do it at relatively the same pace regardless of the weight of what you're holding, if you're holding something light, you can turn quickly, if you're holding something very heavy, you'll turn slowly (in real life). BUT IT'LL ALWAYS BE AT THE SAME PACE (or CLOSE ENOUGH TO).

Go ahead, try it. And then come back and tell us Killzone 2 is being realistic.

Anyway, I didn't play the demo (I don't usually play game demo's) but I'm finding KZ2 an enjoyable experience thus far, just make sure you tweak the controls to how you like it fairly early on.

I'd say it's worth the purchase.

And he's at it again.

For the love of god, stop putting it down so much.. NOTHING is wrong with it.

Ontopic: I suggest buying the game would be better.

Game is awesome. Demo doesn't really show a very good part of the game. I guess they always choose the worst place to have the demo since people won't get dissapoined with the final product then :p

Also controls are fine in my opinion, and multiplayer is epic.

Check out my game about moles ^
