REALISTIC! you are feeling you are indeed carring a heavy gun instead of the call of duty'styll ( ow look how strong i am i can shoot incredible fast)
my god don't you guys never read stuff?

Eh, I thought you'd put this to rest already. Have you ever held a gun? Heck, even any object, if it is heavy, it slows your running down but your reaction time and ability to swing your arms slightly to the left and right don't take as much of a toll (unless it's an extremely heavy object that you were barely able to carry in the first place, which is not a rifle of any sort).

If anything, Killzone 2 got it wrong in that it made the running relatively fast and the reaction time slow. Why? well, because of the fact that unless a human takes a full swing, momentum won't increase speed as much as the muscles in your body do, because of that, when you move your arms left and right (but not full swing/circle) it's usually going at the same pace, you don't start slow and move fast unless you intended to do so.

If you're in a war, you'd want to be able to move at the fastest speed possible if you want to turn your body from the waist up in a different direction, you do it at relatively the same pace regardless of the weight of what you're holding, if you're holding something light, you can turn quickly, if you're holding something very heavy, you'll turn slowly (in real life). BUT IT'LL ALWAYS BE AT THE SAME PACE (or CLOSE ENOUGH TO).

Go ahead, try it. And then come back and tell us Killzone 2 is being realistic.

Anyway, I didn't play the demo (I don't usually play game demo's) but I'm finding KZ2 an enjoyable experience thus far, just make sure you tweak the controls to how you like it fairly early on.

I'd say it's worth the purchase.
