Forums - Sony - Is it just me or does KZ2 feel sluggish?

I remember GG saying that they wanted it that way. So it feels like your character is wearing all armor, heavy padded clothing and guns that they look like they're wearing. Also, since it feels that way to everyone playing online then I don't see a problem... that still leaves both teams with equal strengths and weaknesses.

I've played 4 hours so far mixed single player/multi, and I'm still having problems consistently shooting moving enemies. It's hard getting used to the aiming reticule acceleration but it's getting better.

"For the last time",  it's poor design.  The controls suck.  It has nothing to do with "the weight of the gun".  If we had to fight in Iraq like you have to in killzone we'd be getting our asses kicked.  Maybe if you're aiming an AT4, I could see this control scheme making a little sense.  You're not.  You're using a MF rifle.  Enough with the excuses.  The game is cool as hell, but the controls suck.

Im surprised the usual types havent come in and proclaimed anyone dissing the controls as a 'silly fanboy'....maybe there is hope for the site!

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

I personally am yet to notice the lag people complain about. I reduced my sensitivity (even in cod4 as well) becuase I usually move my character to aim instead of just moving the sights so I haven't really had a problem.

However, you'd be better served to complain on the official PS forums or killzone.com because the devs actually read those. They just might patch it for you guys with problems if you make enough noise. It probably won't make much difference for me though because of my play style and others who've adjusted to the system might be complaining that they're not as good as they were before so the devs really have to weigh the pros and cons of the patch.

However, remember that no matter how bad you think the controls are, in MP, it's the same for everyone so if someone else got the kill, he was just better than you (except you were lagging lol)

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

You don't seem to understand what's going on.  How you havn't noticed yourself if you've played the game is beyond me.  Even if you like the way the controls work, I really don't see how you havn't at least noticed.  There is no "problem".  There is no "lag".  The controls just suck.  When you aim you move slowly at first, but the longer you hold it the faster it will go.  This makes it incredibly difficult to aim reliably.  The only people that seem to like it are people who get owned in call of duty and ps3 fanboys.

On a seperate note, why do ps3 (or any system for that matter) fanboys even come to this site?  If all you want to do is irrationally defend/tear down games then head on over to blu-ray.com.  Anyone who says anything negative about the ps3 (not matter how justified) will be banned.  Heck, over at bluray.com the ps3 is even kicking M$'s ass and closing in on the wii.  It's a really interesting magical place for fanboys.  You people will fit right in.

alright now your straight trolling , imo the controls work fine .,. great even . I was close to returning K2 after the boring inital online experience but it just got progressively better as i played on . The controls take some getting used to but they far from suck.

I know what you're saying but that's the way the game is designed.  Accuracy with shooting is certainly an aspect of realism.  Do you think it's realistic that you turn left, turn right fire three bullets and drop people dead with ease?   Have you fired a gun in real life?

These controls (Like the controls of many games before them) will take some t ime to get used to.   Once you do,  you will have fun and enjoy it.

I don't get owned in CoD,  was a sick ass Goldeneye player,  play Counter Strike Source competitively (Main).  The controls for this game are fine.  Take some time to get used to for sure (But it's a learning curve everyone has to endure).

Ciden same could be said about those who attack all thing Sony .

That's funny in most games I play I also use the character to aim but set sensitivity to really high. Everyone I know that played UT recommended that setting, and it tends to work better in games with a characters more mobile. When it comes to games where the characters are less mobile like CoD4 I set the sensitivity slightly lower.
