you read the question
As long as the cost to port it isnt to great. Although with the 1st one being exclusive I cant imagine many PS3 owners getting this.
Is this going to happen, because I read about this all over the internet, and people in my local gamestop were talking about this. Has it been confirmed yet?
Well, sales of Lost Planet and Bioshock weren't great. And Mass Effect is more story driven than any of them.
So I suspect Mass Effect 2 would do pretty poorly on the PS3 due to the first game not being present. Especially as they would forfeit any existing exclusivity contract payments from Microsoft.
starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Well I heard microsoft sold the rights to it...don't know if it's true, but it means that it can go multplatform if it's true, and nowadays if a game can go multiplat...it will go multiplat.

At this point there is absolutely NO evidence to suggest Mass Effect 2 will go to PS3, and plenty of evidence to suggest it wont.

Yeah, I think ps3 owners got pissed off because they released bioshock at full retail value a year after it's release on 360 with nothing new added but a stupid extra difficulty that would just result in your controller and tv getting broken. It should have been released at it's current retail of 39.99.
I didnt buy Bioshock for that exact reason. Mass Effect 2 should only be on the 360, you would lose too much from the story not playing the first. And if you did play the first, you wont get it on the PS3, because you can transfer your character from Mass Effect to Mass Effect 2. I cant imagine too many people will give up a cool option like that
Good news though is that command and conquer should come with some extra content for ps3 owners...and it's not a year out, lol.
off subject...sorry
