I think battle in Wii version would be done in smaller scale compare to PC version ,maybe they also able to use IR at some point in battle too.

@ vonboy )
well, I read a preview in a german mag that said combat was drastically changed, now you don't command your troops directly anymore but you have several camps you can give general orders and so on, but I didn't read it completely (just had a quick look on the pictures), so I don't know any further details
the preview said it felt very good to play in a quick conclusion at the end of the article
and yes 1602 was the first Anno game

//WTF? These games got no advertisement. I nearly missed their release dates. It's niche, but it could be more than that if you take into consideraton potential demographics of platforms.
I felt dumb after hearing intuitive and accessible so many times. Looks interesting.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.
The Official Huge Monster Hunter Thread:
I just got this little gem and i must say i'm truly enjoying it. Its a very light hearted rts with a kind of settlers/sim city feel to it. Everything is pointer based and just works which makes me wonder why so few rts's have been made for wii, just feels great. The story mode is like one big tutorial with a nice story and gradually teaches you step by step which is nice cause it prepares you for the real meat of the game which is free mode with 3 difficulty settings. In fact i got more gameplay time out of this in one session then madworld and HOTD overkill put together. Not to downplay those two but i'm just getting a lot more out of this and for the bargain price i can't help but recommend it to you guys especially cause its so niche that you might miss it and that would be a real shame.
A quality title by ubisoft...who would have thought ;)
Good to see this great city-building series (with RTS elements) finally coming to Wii (on DS there was already a very good Anno game before: Anno 1701 - Dawn of Discovery).
I'll have to pass though. Like Lafiel I prefer the Anno games on PC and I'll most probably get the upcoming Anno 1404 instead (PC screenshots in Lafiel's post).
Now @Blue Byte/Ubisoft, please give Wii owners The Settlers (but it has to be a waaay better version than Settlers DS), and @Firaxis, will we ever see Civilization on Wii, Mr. Meier?
