I don`t know about any of you but when I was growing up we had some pretty sick cartoons back then. Anyways just seeing some of the crap today just makes me feel sad for this generation.

Anyways I`m bored so I decided to post some opening themes to some great cartoons of the past

Nowadays Theres awesome cartoons on cartoonnetwork like:Ben 10, Ben 10 alien force, Johnny Test, Billy and Mandy Pokemon cartoons These are real cartoons

I like "Wolverine and the X-Men", "Danny Phantom", "Batman: The Brave and the Bold", and lot of other recent ,but no longer in production, cartoons. Cartoons today don't suck. We're just a lot more jaded since we aren't 12 anymore.

I see the nostalgia goggles are in full effect here. Seriously, all of those cartoons you posted are terrible. By any way in which you can judge the quality of the medium they are bad. The animation is awful and inconsistent, the characters are flat and 2-Dimensional and the plots never made any sense. But then that's exactly how childrens cartoons are supposed to be. The formula was in effect then and is still used now. You're just being overly cynical because your not a child anymore and newer shows don't have any relevence to you so you see them for what they really are...mindless and without logic. You just don't pick up on it with the older shows because of the 'OMG I remember that!' reflex. So yes...it's just you, the vast majority of cartoons have always sucked.

You do not appreciate cartoons anymore because you have outgrown. Cartoons are marketed towards children aged 14 and under.
There are good cartoons and bad cartoons it all depends on your tastes and interests. i would say there are much more variety of cartoons now then there were back 10 years ago.
