Thing is I would buy all those Wii sports games if they didn't ruin it with the ALL play crap.

Sue keep the mode as an addon. But I want a proper game to it too. Hence why I get my sports games on the PS3 atm, but it owuld be interesting to test out Wii controls on Madden without it being silly.

So in the last little while, EA has announced Boom Blox Party, DeadSpace Extraction and a Wii specific iteration of Need for Speed, confirmed that Tiger, DeadSpace and their new Wii centric tennis game will use MotionPlus and brought forward family fun potential titles like Nascar kart, Mysims racer and Mysims party, and this is the hatred they get for it?

It seems that unless a company decides to follow up successful PS3/360 entries in to their biggest and tech heavy franchises with Wii entries that probably won't sell as much, they're bad companies.

We should be happy EA has come around so much.

I actually am happy with EA in some weird way. It's just really hard for me to stop talking shit about them after I've hated them with such passion for so long. I think most of what EA's done for the Wii has just been insulting, like the All Play stuff. And they even ruined Boom Blox with tons of really unnecessary glitches.

But on the other hand, EA is actually trying hard to understand us, and they gave us Boom Blox. And they're giving us a sequel.

This generation has seen me turn from a 100% EA hater to about a 50% EA hater.

And on the other hand, I would have married Ubisoft last generation for Beyond Good and Evil, and now I wouldn't piss on Ubi's face if it was on fire.

Oh shit, I just Wiki'd Boom Blox and found out Mark Mothersbaugh did the music. Now I know why it was so damn good! Aw crap I need to play it again. I hate you EA, I hate you. But I'm drunk and... I lov eyou.

it's probably cause for every Dead Space Extraction game EA will give as NFS Undercover, Nascar Kart and few My Sims party games spinoffs.

it's good that they are working on some descent games, but for every good game they are developing we will probably get 3-4 shitty ones and that's the main problem.

it's not about getting exclusive Gears of War 3 or Resident Evil 6, but it would be really good if publishers would care more about putting some effort into wii titles cause after 3 years wii is still getting from 3rd party developers games that even gamecube launch titles are putting in shame. plus all those "wii can't handle this/ wii can't handle that eventough we made similar games on ps2" crap.

one of those 25 games better be burnout with online play, it should be arcade style like the PS2 versions, i dont like the open worldness of burnout paradise.
