Guys can we stop taunting the mod now, I think this is going to make things worse.

There are channels to go through for this sort of thing.

Edit: Lostplanet22 sees what is up! I assume.

Man guys we really don't got to flame nobody!

I'm gettin' outta here before the admins come in and start sniffin' around

Edit3: Unless twesterm gets back to me on bringing the idea up with the people in charge! I would gladly stick around for a discussion that would prevent me from reporting posts for which people have already been warned.

If I made a thread called 'VGCHARTZ members are idiots! or the most are'   I would have been banned in a second.

Exactly, its completely ridiculous that the rules that apply to the users don't apply to the mods. I mean, cops enforce the law, but they aren't above it.

Well this could have been a constructive thread, but the maturity level in here isn't very high.

If you have a problem, you need to report it up the chain of command with specifics. Sending emails saying "twesterm is a dick you should ban him" isn't going to cut it (sorry buddy :P). If you feel like your email is being ignored, it's probably because you either won't specific enough or you don't actually have a case.

We have a fine moderating stuff who volunteer their own time to try and make this community better. Instead of berating them over it, how about you thank them for their help and do your own part be reporting posts that violate the rules.

And yes calling someone a troll is against the rules. You get one warning. I've been asked many times to be more strict in enforcing the rules, particularly for repeat offenders. It's pretty simple -- don't say something on the boards that you wouldn't want said to you in person. Treat people with respect. Lots of people have zero warnings or bans on record, maybe ask one of them if you really can't figure it out.

Now with that said I'm locking this thread before certain people get themselves banned.
