Believe whatever makes you feel happy, it makes little difference to me. However, I will add that advertising's primary purpose is to build hype for the product in question, so better advertising would in turn build more hype.
And if you believe Killone 2 is a blip to Halo 3, then you either have selective memory, or you avoided the internet at the time.
