The single most hyped game of this generation arrives, and the first person to get their hands on it takes the time to photograph themselves holding their copy and posting said photograph to tease Americans.

Sigh.

looool

SC got owned big time

priceless

Lol.  You say that all the time. And it never matters if I actually was owned or not.

Also, you're never sensible enough to wait for my response and generally end up looking rather foolish.

I've got my copy too, but it's in my car, and I'm stuck at work. 4 more hours to wait before I put the disk in the beast.

I'm sorry, but better advertising does not for a moment equal more hype.

Halo 3 was a blip on the internet radar compared to the hype titan that has been Killzone 2.

Believe whatever makes you feel happy, it makes little difference to me. However, I will add that advertising's primary purpose is to build hype for the product in question, so better advertising would in turn build more hype.

And if you believe Killone 2 is a blip to Halo 3, then you either have selective memory, or you avoided the internet at the time.

That said, I'm sure there is a funky picture that explains this far better. Dallinor?

To put it simply, that game was hyped as hell(even in the internet) coupled together with outstanding advertising. If I'm correct it even had a super bowl commercial.

Do you honestly believe that Halo 3 received a substantial amount more hype than Killzone 2?
