Still, both are very good games.

No.  It's 230 unique "true" light sources in a scene!  Even some of the bugs on the planet have true lights for eyes at night.  Gears 2 has less than a dozen "true" light sources for sure.

HAHA SUCKERS I GOT MY TOO 1 HOUR AFTER THE STORE OPEND ( I camped to get 50 % off XD ).

So far the game is absolutely stunning! Graphics are at a WOW lvl for me, The online is addicting like sex! And the story so far is bad ass XD AWMAGAWD I LUV IT!

i cant wait for today to be over so i can get my copy of killzone 2, so many ppl on my psn list are playing it ive had enough.
