dont worry, the 3 year warranty does apply.
im having zero, i mean zip problems with bioshock and my xbox is a 2005 one (got it that christmas), havent even hag lag yet, let alone freeze up.
I dont understand why your posting that mike b it just sounds like normal hardware problems that people get with any games
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Well nothing happened to my system, I recently purchased a Nyko Intercooler EX for my 360. I'm not having any problems, I'm using the Intercooler, plus a floor fan, and my A/C in my room, so my Xbox 360 is as cool as can be.
The only problem I had was when I was playing Gears of War. The level where you had to lead the berserker out the building, to outside and use the Hammer of Dawn. Well when I went outside to use the Hammer of Dawn it didn't let me. I tried numerous times restarting my checkpoint and I couldn't use the Hammer of Dawn. Until I restarted the game from the dashboard and it worked. Now that was crazy, it might not of happened to anyone else but that was a glitch from out of this world!!

if I were you i would call them... support via e-mail is slow in accurate and a pain in the ass for both side... call them y'oull be set in less than an 1 hour if it's nothing big...
now don't worry about what people say.... you have a 1, 2, 3, 4..... 999 ring of death you are covered from the day of purchase for 3 years...

no Mike B when you'll have like between 10 000 and 50 000 report of a pb related with Bioshock you'll be able to say it's related.... until then it's probably still the same problem as usuall with old XBox built
What would you expect from an American-made product, although it is kinda sad that all of these consoles are failing with that Ring of Death thingy just when Halo is right around the corner.

This american made product seems to actually have GAMES if you are coming from ps3 perspective

The funny thing is the 360 is actually made in China, just like the Wii and PS3.
Furthermore, the CPU in both the PS3 and Wii are designed by the same American company that makes the 360's CPU.

3rd 360? I don't think I would have ever got to a 3rd. After anything failed on me twice, it would be out the window and I'd be moving on.
