from IGN's recent previews of the game (before the game was released) I thought they would have given it around the 7.3 to 7.5 range...after watching and reading the review i can understand the 6.9 though

It probably took a hit in score just because it can't compare to the 360 version.

Capcom are losers and it hurts even more to know that these PS360 pirates are rubbing it in while they enjoy SF4 and RE5 within 2 months of each other. Hate Capcom. They have taken too bloody long to actually bother with the Wii and now they are apparently getting worse at it.

 

 After Gamecube and N64 you should've known better then to think you'd be gettting strong third party support on Wii. In fact now that Wii is selling like crack with no 3rd party support expect it to get worse not better. Ps. I'm a PSwii owner I don't worry about such things.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

 Well we did have excellent support for a while. Its just that developers were either poached, such as Rare, or simply deluded in to thinking Nintendo was the loosing horse this gen. They have consequently made crap games that haven't made much money on PS360 or spent too much money and not become profitable enough to survive the economic disaster.

Are you for real. It was only one of the most original games ever released that actually worked. Yes we've all seen the "Night of the living dead" films. But in terms of games this actually pulled of those crazy comedy horrors in a game. Never done before.

I'm talking about the 360 version here I haven't played the Wii. Looks just the same but a bit crappier.

Your comments make no sense. The Wii is a different console than the N64 and the Gamecube. There are reasons for those consoles to not have a lot of third party support. The N64 used cartridges and the Gamecube used 1.5 GB mini disc. The Wii does not have a storge media problem and it's also the market leader. It may be under powered but so were the PSX and the PS2 but third parties supported those consoles.

The problem with developers is that they are only pushing Graphics. They are spending lots of money to make realistic graphics and complaining about the rising cost of games, isn't that ironic.

3rd party support for the Wii will get better. The Wii almost has a user base of 50 million. Publishers and developers are silly to ignore that. Well, everyone except Capcom. There is just no hope for them. Their losing money and still Ignore the Wii and DS and the PSP, to some extent.

IGN like the rest of the gaming media are money grabbing turds. They always give positive spin on previews then shit on it when it comes to reviewing time. They've got no self respect or a proper infrastructure unlike the film world where only the best survive.
