M.A.G., God of War III, and Gran Turismo 5 are all scheduled to release sometime between October 2009 and March 2010.

It's probably too optimistic to expect all three before the new year, but it's almost certainly too pessimistic to expect all or even most of them after. Sony isn't going to release its three biggest upcoming IPs a month or two after the selling extravaganza that is the holiday season. One of them will in all likelyhood slip into 2010 (see: Killzone 2, Halo Wars) so as to keep console sales alive during the period, but that's it.

All of those games could be delayed till 2020 and PS3's 09 linup will still pwn. dont ship a brick.

GT5 is not even in Sony press release. I think it's likely all 3 of them won't be released in 2009.



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

This is bad news. Not the least of which because all these games that were used in the "PS3 has the best 2009 line-up" argument will now be used in the "PS3 has the best 2010 line-up."

It's a shame if GOW3 gets delayed too, because I am quite looking forward too it.
