The main attraction for me was the character of George Costanza, one of the most complex characters ever to grace television.

I like both, but Seinfeld is way better.

Seinfeld because Friends is trash.
I think you'd be hard pressed to find people on here who would prefer friends. Seinfeld was probably one of the most influential sitcoms of the last 20 years. Friends was just a popular show. It didn't really change or add anything to tv comedy.
