Forums - PC - Square Enix signs on with Steam!

Well, I don't like SE games, but this is great news for 'dying' platform.

Around the Network

This was announced as a news title last week wasn't it.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Great for them. Steam just sizzles off cooked Blu-rays and DVDs in this regard. Mass digital-only dl is the future.

its good to see another big developer using the Download distribution method. This is the future and developers and companies are going to have to embrace it sooner or later. lets just hope its the former

Sorry but that's rediculus.

World with DLC only is world where everything cost as much as RRP price, there's no store competition to drive prices down, there's no second hand market to pick up used games.

If you value good prices and your consumer rights you should buy as much boxes through retail compared to DLC as possible.

But digital download ist the future. Personally, i don't like it because i'm a collector.

For PC gaming, you will have the choice between Steam and the MS marketplace. Steam is the lesser evil.
