Forums - Nintendo - New Wii game from Eidos

Something I would like to ad is that when this game is going to come out, Nintendo can have sold roughly 25 million Wii:s WW. I do hope that numbers like that would mean a good sales for unique games like this.

Buy it and pray to the gods of Sigs: Naznatips!

Man, I miss the old days when you had to ask yourself constantly, between the sweet titles, why did I buy a N64 or why did I buy this GC? Now... I don't know how to act guys. All of these games? What is this? Is this the Nintendo I knew and loved?
Before I cared for Nintendo, I protected it from all of its antagonist but now... It doesn't need me any more.

Nah, It's great and I hope this game Averages 9's.

I can't believe I forgot the game's title. I probably will buy this, I like games where I create monsters and have them fight.

yeah, creating your own monster seems pretty bad ass.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

I'm confused. It says Action RPG but describes turn-based battles.

Either way, anything that's non-cashin is worth keeping an eye on.

Lots of promise. Customization is always fun. Hit locations add a nice tactical element to gameplay. If you do minigames to build your monster, sounds like you can play them a lot or a little, depending on how much you like the minigames, which is a nice choice for the player.

And Tim Burton is one of my favourite filmmakers, so if he's a cited source of inspiration, that bodes well for the environment, story and atmosphere. :)

Tim Burton + Pokemon = Orgasm

The game looks good, concept sounds cool. I'm in for it. If they can do this right, they could have a serious money maker on their hands.

With this the 3rd party Wii games I'll need to buy are:

No More Heroes
Zack and Wiki
DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3
NiGHTS (please don't kill it Sega)
Monster Lab (this)
Final Fantasy CC:CB

It's looking pretty good. Nothing groundbreaking, but an interesting art style. The game is still almost a year away from release so we can expect these graphics to improve as well.

There is a DS version of this game in development as well.

Wow this does look pretty awesome. I will definitely be watching this one as it gets closer to completion. I have a few friends who simply adore the turn based strategy games and are starving for this type of game. The Tim Burton influence is just a nice bonus and should result in a good style for the game.

All in all this sounds like two games in one to me. Making monsters and then actually fighting with them!

@DonWii/Naznatips,

I am right there with you, been telling people for a while now that games aren't something you just pop in the microwave and "DING" they are done. It takes a lot of time and a lot of effort to actually produce something worth showing off. And thats just to get it to a point where you can say "Hey we have a game coming this is what it looks like right now, but we will see you in 6 months with a finished product!"...Hopefully folks will start to get the picture.
