Can't find release date for NA anywhere. This game looks like a lot of fun and reminds me of some older hack n slash RPGs. Seems to be doing well in Japan as most stores are sold out from retailers not expecting how big demand would be.

I actually wouldn't mind checking this one out, because it is supposed to be more of a western style game.

Some people on neogaf speculate it may never make it over here, given the difficulty and general niche-ness of the game, much like some of the Kings Field series.

I think it'll make it over here. I mean, the game has a more western feel than WKC.

Well, it certainly has a more western feel to it. When I first saw it, I called it a Japanese Oblivion.

I think it has the potential to do well over here, but I can't help but feel it'll die off pretty quickly due to a lack of marketing, the extreme nature of the game (look at NGII), and other things.

Though even a crappy Obliion-rip like Two Worlds managed 400k here, so who knows...
