@ theo, it is the same battle director as X, not XII, and I think the team is mostly those who worked on X

He also worked on the DS game, FF 12: Revenant Wings.

No, that would be Motomu Toriyama, the director. He was talking about the battle director, Toshiro Tsuchida. he was in charge of Front Mission series when it was still alive.

If he is the director, what is Kitase doing?

he is a producer like he was with FFX.

The world doesnt revolve around your solo opinion...

PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

Isn't Kitase the producer and story writer for XIII just like VII?

Scenario writer is Kazushige Nojima (FFVII, VIII, X, KH)

On the PS1, Square released FF VII in 1997. FF VIII then in 99. FF IX then in 2000.

Why can't we have games that fast anymore?

Go play the SNES games already, sheesh.

Even if you're SNES-less an hate pirating, there's no excuse for not playing FFIV DS...!

You should tell my parents to get me more games then :3 The only DS game I have is TWEWY and there's a lot more I want (including FF IV). If they actually bought me more games then I would be able to play them!

If you do get FFIV, be careful; the game is difficult. The story and characters are really good, and the battle system is excellent. Final Fantasy IV is up there along with FFVI and IX.

Well im also quite sick of constant Remakes from SE or their lack of fresh ideas lately. However TWEWY shows that there is still a lot of talent and creativity there, and they should really try to create more new titles, because constant milking of FF franchise really gets on my nerves..

@twesterm

If u haven't liked there games for 10 years why do u even care anymore? Just move on to other companies. I'm sure Soriku can point u to some good rpgs that don't rely on cutscenes. :)

I played FFX and agree with u that the game was utter garbage, but how long do u want to hate a company for??

After reading these last few pages I can honestly say I am looking forward to FFXIII a little more than I previously was.
