I'm not saying Gamespot are a reliable source, that is not the issue here, my issue is that the so called "Rationale" Madskillz was using about being rational, he only uses this when it's PS3 games, but if it's 360 games that exact same "Rationale" is thrown out the window . It's this kind of double standards that pisses me off. Well, at least we have evidence of Madskillz true colours now (All though it was pretty obvious already )

Yeah, he's one of those that I don't understand why they have ps3s. i've never seen madskillz post anything pro-ps3. I wonder why he got one. I had an xbox and loved it. If I didn't think I'd like the console, I won't have purchased it. The most annoying case scenario is when x person thinks their possession of the console is a license to post gibberish.

I said I was gone, but I so have to respond to this. I bought it to review games - and think it's a good console. However, as an Xbox-PS2 owner, I am not impressed with the gaming lineup. Yeah, Uncharted is cool and GT5 definitely has my interest - I have a G25 Logitech steering wheel that works on my PS2 and PS3, but not my 360 - but overall, I don't see it as being awesome. It's a console but for me, I am sold on games.

What I find the funniest is - the attacks I have received steadily from PS3 fans who claim they know my gaming habits and the like. I love how blazinhead is like 'It's pretty obvious' and even you, Pristine. So what if I don't praise the PS3 for being the end-all console. It's not. It's a console in serious need of many AAA games.

In the end, it's my opinion, so respect that. And it would bode well with other diehard PS3 fans to just ignore other PS3 owners who aren't as passionate as you are instead of attacking them, chiding them and looking downright immature.

 

I took care of you a few posts back. I check your page time to time myself and saw you have not one but TWO PS3's. I quoted you stating they were purchased for reviewing games. Hopefully you do not mind.

I however didn't agree with your upscaling con, not even upscaling DVD players or the 360 upscale beyond 480p without the use of HDMI cables.

In my opinion comparing console to PC is very foolish. PC has consoles beat by over 4GB of RAM and super high end graphics cards.

To me comparing PS360 to PC is like comparing PS360 to the Wii in terms of graphics, it just doesn't work.

There you go again pulling stuff out of thin air. Reask made a thread recently claiming that 360's graphics were better. I'm pretty sure heis a ps3 fanboy as well.

He said that he thinks 360 games have more realisitc graphics,not better,and he didnt post it as a fact.

I agree 100%,I used to be a heavy PC gamer but myPC went kaput :(

I missed where he said that. Crysis who? =/= crysis looks worse. It's your imagination. Most on the thread even seemed to agree that crysis looked better but the devs did a really good job on kz2

You're funny madskillz. Where have I or blazinhead ever stated that the ps3 is the "end all of of consoles"? no console is the end all. I only made an observation. It's not immaturity to question the judgement of others because people have to be called out for their opinion at times just as you have done to mine. It doesn't mean I don't respect your opinion. When the vast majority of your posts are anti-ps3, one starts to question your motives and it's difficult not to question your opinion on a simple thing as a game.

Like I said, it was pretty difficult for me to comprehend how you complain about almost everything ps3. One has to question the judgement of a person  who would spend >$400 on something they don't want. I now see things better though I guess you're a game reviewer so it makes more sense now. I won't buy a 360 and then complain about every single thing about it. We buy our consoles to enjoy gaming not to complain about them.

Look at the 3 threads about Halo Wars. There were a few - a few - who didn't like the game. It's an RTS and some folks don't like the game. So what. They weren't attacked, just asked 'What did you not like about it?' What's rabid about that? When KN did the 'What's so awesome about KZ2' thread, PS3 bots quickly derailed it.

You know, I am tired of running my head into a brick wall. It's obvious a vast majority of your opinions won't be changed and it makes no sense whatsoever to continue to waste my time and resources to discuss this matter to a nonreceptive aud.

Let the financials do the talking from now on. Let the biz experts continue to talk about how Sony is floundering, and how the exclusive content keep landing on the 360 while you continue to get even more steamed and more pissed. Don't believe what you read - enjoy being in your happy place. I'd recommend dark blue shade vs. rose-colored shades because the red Sony bleeds and will continue to bleed won't show up with rose-colored shades but will appear BLACK with blue shades.

I have a question.

Have there ever been any documented cases of violent crimes in history over console fanboys fighting over what piece of electronic equipment is better than the other?

It's pretty well balanced on this site as far as mudslinging. There are about 10% of the members on this site that actually like to talk about games and can put their console biases aside. I do enjoy those conversations.

I can't say I'm overly excited about KZ2 or Gears of War 2 a couple months ago. What does that make me?

I do tend to defend the PS3 more simply because MS is the one other company that I 've hated dealing with besides Car Toys. IRL, I've definitely taken heat from MS fanboys than any other fanboys. Gamestop employees and many people were trying to correct the fact that I had a PS3 before a 360 and didn't want Halo and Gears. I love Nintendo, but most of the games I want are still at least a year down the line for the Wii.

RROD Machine and "No Games" Blu-ray Player are two arguments that I think both sides should put aside.

At the end of this generation, from the third parties view - the 360 and PS3 won't be far enough apart that they completely drop either side cold turkey. They did with N64 for Sony, but that had all to do with internal struggles between Ninty and third parties back then.

Also, this generation - the lowest selling system will probably pull similar numbers of the SNES LTD (55 million). I think that's a great expansion in the industry to in the last two decades.
