Microsoft fanboys: They insist on tearing down every PS3 exclusive in existence. Whether it's Tools of Destruction, Resistance 2 and Uncharted which are "not AAA", MGS4 which is a movie, LBP which is a kiddy, casual level toolset which happens to have just won the most prestigious annual gaming award in existence and has a higher metascore than the almighty Gears of War games, and now Killzone 2. Killzone 2 is more difficult, because it cannot be dismissed so easily, due to the fact that it has been compared to Halo and Gears. Insulting the core idea would be insulting their own games, so instead they must nitpick on every small issue: 0.137 seconds of command lag (I bet you Halo 3 has at least that much), frame rate drops to 20 fps (like Gears) or "huge dead zones" etc. etc. etc. Menawhile, the Nintendo fanboys sit, laugh, and go back to discussing who is hotter, Mario or Link, and the like |
lol Kantor If your a PS fanboy your the most unbiased one,im being honest i think of you as being unbiased,i think you got fan and fanboy mixed up,Fan = fan of the system Fanboy = Riding these of the company.
Now PS3 fanboys have the tendacy to overhype every game,Killzone 2 is being proclamed the best graphcis of any console,LBP was supposed to be huge and move millions first day and attract the casuals and so forth,Now that LBP is out i dont hear not one thing about it,KZ2 will be the same way,Infamous or GoW3 is next to become the new thing of SFB,and as for graphcis...
Uncharted has the best PS3 graphics,R2 is my fav PS3game.
360 fanboys always get picked on the most on this site,that and the 360,even the Wii fan(boys)are starting to pick on 360,While i have both PS3 + 360 i cannot pick either side because i love them both,Look at my sig im proud to be rocking it!

The J man made a thread to compare GOW 1 and GOW 2 sales , which were obviously gears of war 1/2 because their sales numbers were right beside them , and guess what happened?

I think fanboys have sort of created their own sport. It is like they are a football team fan who follows their team through thick and thin. When the team loses you expect to get the piss taken out of you for supporting that team by people who don't support that team. And vice versa you can brag when it gets one over on your rival etc
However the only difference is that fanboys can't handle the piss being taken out of them when their "side" loses. I have not been on this website long but i have noticed that PS3 fanboys will react more to the slightest thing. If you simply mention sales of a console someone will come out from the other side trying to run damage control justifying why it is selling that much. So i don't find it annoying. What i find annoying is that a lot of them go into every discussion without the intention to actually discuss, they have already decided their opinion, one which even god would not change if e told them they we were wrong. he would just be called a "enter console here" hater :)

You may not realize it but some of us came into that thread genuinely confused. Those of us who are used to Gears of war shortened to gears and god of war shortened to GOW could have been genuinely confused. I didn't realize you were talking about gears till I saw that the topic was in the M$ discussion because I didn't even know what God of War sold. I'm pretty sure even some fans of the 360 were confused as well.
If you make a thread, you should clarify what you mean, it's not up to others to read your mind.

Whining? Nope. I made a joke in that thread and then YOU were the one who instead of taking it as a joke said that Gears desrves the abbreviation because it sold more which then exploded into a back and fourth between members, which then lead into Squillilam making a thread about it. You had just as much to contribute to what happened to that thread as my original post. As far as that argument went though, all I did was say God of War came first and ended it at that. Hardly whining. Although you came off as very whiney when you got all uptight about me questioning the sales of Gears of War (one of my favorite games I might add).

Gears is GeOW,God of war is GOW.
Thats way it should be because God of war cannot be GeOW because there isnt a E anywhere.

God of war has never reached these numbers and everone on this site knows that and also why would the J man ask this if the ps2 is at the end of its cycle and there is around a 1 mil lead and god of war 2 isnt selling beans?
If you didnt read the op and just the title , the logical answer would be something like the underlined above , but if you did and still didnt realize that it was gears of war and not god of war..... the J man is speechless
