If you had a bunch of crappy food in front of you that you hated and someone asked you to pick a favorite you would just pick the best of the group.  Your disdain for the group as a while doesn't make it impossible to pick a favorite.

Believe me i played Disgaea 2 and loved it and i can still tell you Yuri is a way better protagonist then Adell and ToV is also a better game then Disgaea 2.

I've played tales of Eternia (psp), Tales of symphonia and tales of the world radiant mythology.

My fav is Tales on symphonia.
