i agree with your view , and while some of the exclusives on the ps3 like uncharted, killzone 2 and mgs4 all look great. but uncharted a game which i love, the thing that needs work on in the sequel is the eyes, the plastic looks to the character faces and such. msg4 looks great but better in the cutscenes than the actual game, killzone 2 looks great but too much drab in the color palette , needs more color and excitement. these things for me, make the ps3 look less vabriant then a game like gears 1 or 2 which makes the characters look more real to me anyways. i think gears 2 easly shows that the 360 can do anything the ps3 can in graphics.

I totally disagree//both platforms have their strengths and weakness in the video cards//the 360 has more support and more time on graphics department because the 360 has been out longer//when it comes to the PS3 version of the game//well it just gets a sub-par version and not the fully power of the game like it should//developers treat the 360 version as the main target and the PS3 as a after thought//MGS4 is by far the best graphics game this generation other than Killzone 2.

Ok, so I'm on topic... I think both rock. Uncharted, Killzone, MGS4 really push the envelope. Mass Effect, Gears and others look great as well.

Isn't it impossible to declare one superior over the other at this point? We'd have to wait for the 'next gen' when games are no longer being developed, even then...it's kinda pointless. The consoles just seem so close to me.

The 360 does not look better imo. Everything on the xbox is all shinny one great example of that is forza 2. Ps3 looks more real in the way that stuff in real life is not all shiny also i do want to say resistace 2 kind of pissed me off because it went that route of all shinny to.
