Getting this game tomorrow, is there a stand our powerful character? Did not seem that wait with the arcade version.

Dan, don't practice with him just go straight online once you get him.

Dan, Sakura, that new Mexican wrestler...you really cant go wrong with any of them

:O will do, people here using hori sticks or what? DS3 for me, not going to waste £100 on the sticks. I know all the moves from the arcase, going to pawn everyone. :P

Most people saying he is easy probably haven't even played the game, or at the very least only did it with their main and haven't ried with various characters.

Dan Hibiki, Abel and El El Fuerte all on Medium

Especially with Dan Hibiki it was literally....

the only thing i cant stand about seth is that damn teleporting. it drives me crazy. im holding back to charge my move and he gets behind me and does that uppercut move which hits like 6 times. -_- its annoying

Block the opponents moves. Mash the buttons really fast and learn those combos. Fighter games are just button mashers and whoever presses the buttons fastest wins most of the time.

I Lol'd. Anyways, Seth is pretty broken, but he's not that hard on the easier difficulties.

Is there a way to counter grabs? Seth is really annoying me, I suck as C.Viper even on easiest 1round (yes I gave in) I still can't do it.

You can, but it won't work against Seths grabs.  Not the uppercut/teleport/piledriver one he does anyway,

Another ignorant thing about this thread. WTF are people worrying about the half-assed single player game for, and why does balance matter at all, really? To "have fun online?"

Honestly, once again, fighters online always suck. No frame counting, no decent competitive play, no control over anything. Fighters have always been about 1v1 or tourney play. You can't expect to not have a cheapass Gon player online, but did Gon ruin Tekken 3?

Flawed logic all over the place. Not pointing at you this time Kylie, but most people on this subject are completely offbase. Think it out, honestly. The specifics don't matter when the base argument is weak.

Are you serious

You guys suck. What is it with the new generation of kids and never wanting games to be any challenge.. this game is old-school - you actually have to be good to beat it.

Seth is just broken.

They gave him a bunch of moves stolen from others characters, but didn't put any of the drawbacks in (like charge time between Sonic Booms, he actually throws two at once sometimes), he also has an unblockable ultimate that does a lot of damage and he has few moves that completely ignore what your character is doing and allow him to attack you no matter what. To top it all off they gave him uber speed.

Yeah, anyway, broken.

I am not sure one is supposed to all a final boss "broken".  A boss is meant to be unfairly hard, and if this is Seth.

I have had problems with Seth, even on what I thought was the easiest setting.  Well, I play with M. Bison.  I also have problems with Viper, and then switch to Honda, beat the Mexican wrestler, then lose to Seth.

Well, time to fire up again on what is said to be the easiest setting and hope.

It's Super Dynamic Cooking Time!

I finally beat Seth on the Easiest setting.
