@ Rocketpig: You are also one of the few people I have ever met to say that Metroid Prime was a BAD move for the series.   

^You serious? Not only do I see it discussed(Metroid Related) in forums all the time-especially when talking about MP3:C, I KNOW people who are 2D Metroid purists, and are still waiting for Metroid Dread.

Really?  Wow.  No I have never met people who think it was bad.  Also, the last 2D Metroid (Fusion) was kinda meh, so I'm not really sure I want to see what Metroid Dread would be like if they actually made it.

Oh lighten up DonWii, what else can we do on the umpteenth Bioshock review thread?  Have to do something to keep it interesting.

Rol....last time someone started that everyone jumped all over him saying he was looking for attention. Damned if you do....damned if you don't.

I think the too few reviews for Oot being the reason it is so high is a little BS.

Look at the scores first of all, Gamespot, IGN, and several other places that rarely give out 10s, gave the game a 10, no game has done that since.

To people wondering why OoT was so great:

1) Defined a 3d Adventure game, and pretty much help build the foundation for what a 3D game should be like alone with Mario 64

2) Invented the lock on system that has been seen in countless games since.

3) (at the time) Brilliant graphics unmatched by anything

4) Successfully took one of the biggest franchises in history into 3D

5) Impressive Story and very climatic ending

6) Solid controls, good level design, stayed perfectly true to the Zelda formula

Pretty much the game was revolutionary in all it's aspects, something no game has come close to matching. Zelda did a lot for the industry.

I think BenKenobi should make the IGN Metroid thread....he's gonna be making the Smash Bros. update anyway. That way he can lock any other threads that happen at the same time.
