Forums - Gaming - Is Capcom USA too busy with ancillary activities to do real gaming?

It's a debit card.

This whole downloadable content is disgusting me, I'm not looking for a MH3 on my Wii until Capcom out grows this .

I watched a friend pay 4 USD for extra colors for characters in Street Fighter IV, just before he told me that Capcom mentioned 2 downloadable characters and another friend pointed out two slots missing in the command list section where you select which character you want to learn about.

Whatever happened to releasing the packaged goods, at this point I don't want a Wii storage solution as the function wont be viewed as convenient for the consumer but abusable by the producer.

This is mainly why PC gaming wasn't for me. V_V P2P

Tbh when Sony/Microsoft started trouting games that were incomplete and had to be patched AFTER purchase it's a problem.

...When you're using something thats SUPPOSE to add "fun" to a game as a means to finish the product, it's only a matter of time before you start seeing the financial protenial of doing it.

I really like the way 2k handled the DLC for GTAVI. It makes it feel like it's bringing some MEAT to the game you already have, not simply adding a missing piece.

Yes, although it was Rockstar and GTA IV.

I'm not sure where to stand with the GTAIV issue, as far as where I stand currently, there is no form of downloadable content that has to be paid for that is acceptable; in that they are endeavours to perfect the game and not just ways to milk specific demographics.

I'm seeing it from the eyes of children who play these games, even if they aren't supposed to, but these kids will grow up, and these games will be replaced with other games that could recquire something more streneous on a wallet. Kid's don't have access to a credit card without their parents.

Back in the late 90's this method was used for age verification, but now it's used to garner a companies profit margin - when I see a game rated EC and has downloadable content, maybe others then a mass will also believe that this has gone too far.

For myself though it's not really an issue as DLC and P2P got me out of the PC gaming scene and I'm just looking for a reason to abandon console gaming as well.

This is just me viewing it from the lense of a PC gamer I guess, most guys who have been playing PC games for at least the last 15 years have an idea where this is going, but that may be a brash assumption on my part.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?

No PC or Console gaming? Thats a tough road to hoe, lol. What got be out of PC gaming was with a family I no longer wanted to afford all the constant upgrading; So I was out of gaming total for a minute, it's not so tough during the summer months here in the Mitten, but the Winter months it FAILS.

I like DLC, but not for characters. More like additional adventures and stuff, not for fighters and colours, ug.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
