The other day I was playing Shaun white snow boarding and i thought to myself.........no no no no this doesn't feel right why is it that i can do basic 720 and 1080 tricks when on ssx you can go crazy with uber tricks the last one ssx blur was only a wii exclusive which was disappointing as I had waited so long for it to release. Then decided to raom around on wiki then i saw a ssx series section - future games and it said (EA have announced a SSX 5 but no date has been confirmed) 

Finally EA if this is true then the 4 year wait has meant something SSX ftw

oh yea and EA tend to release there SSX every 2 year so its highly possible that  they may be working on it

the wii ssx was far from disappointing. I liked the game.

SSX Tricky was Probably my one of my favorite sports games last gen.

I hope EA does bring SSX to HD consoles soon.

Anyways, I'm sort of expecting the next SSX to do what Shaun White did. 1 game for PS3/X360 with more complicated controls, and another game for Wii with simpler controls, but utilizes the balance board. I mean, I enjoy the Wii version of Shaun White, but if it wasn't for the balance board the game would be lame. It looks great, but the tricks are on the simple side. But you can't go too complicated with the balance board, or it wouldn't work too well. I feel that Shaun White did a great job using the balance board, so it turned out to be a really good game.

I really love SSX Blur for the Wii, it's one of my favorite Wii games so far. It is weird that we haven't seen more of SSX, maybe they didn't want to whore out the franchise, and they ran out of ideas for the time being?

That may happen.  EA may release a new SSX for Wii/PS3/Xbox 360 and use Wii as the lead console.
