I was in waterstones this morning (UK), Waterstones is a book shop that sells all kinds of books from novels to childrens book and has done for years.
This morning I walked into one of there stores and I noticed they started selling Nintendo DS's and games, £99.99 for a DS or £119.99 for DS/Game. One thing I did noticed was that the games they sold were games like brain training, sight training, 42 all-time classic games, 100 classic book collection etc, but no games like mario and stuff.
The people looking at them and buying were older, middle age women. I saw a woman (I say about 50) buy '100 classic book collection'.
I just though to myself, if a store like waterstones (a die-hard book shop) is selling DS consoles to people who would never-ever play a console, then nintendo have done really well to include all types of games to all types of people.
PC gaming rules.....
