Forums - Gaming - Killzone 2 review you may not have seen plus a VGChartz reference!

Nice. Good to see people do take the time out of their day to do something like this. Very rare if we ever see the light of day come out of these articles being hidden by fanboy rants.

Wow, that killzone 2 review was more informative than most!

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

In case anyone is interested he also had this to say about a week ago in regards to the KZ2 demo.

Anyway, for people that are getting the game anyway after being so-so on the demo, i think you're going to be pleasantly surprised, for everyone on the hype bandwagon expecting 'the best ps3 game ever' it's highly unlikely that you'll be disappointed.

As far as Killzone 2's multiplayer is concerned, it will end up right up there with call of duty / tf2 in terms of use, there were 600,000 people with the Kz2 beta, and from the stats i've seen there was a point where about 350,000 of those people were all online at the same time.

I don't know where he gets a lot of his info but for the most part he is usually correct.

*This is not posted on his site from what I know, this was told to us when we asked him on a different website forum area*

What I like about him is that he is very honest. He will point out faults whether they are minor and/or large. Even in this review he states that no PS3 games have really "wowed" him yet and Killzone 2 is the first. If any of you checked out snake612's RealTalk thread last night with Squilliam you will find that he shares this same exact view, except Squilliam isn't 100% sure on KZ2 although he thinks it just might be the first for him as well, complete with a "fingers crossed".

It comes out as very unbiased and quite professional. He even points out faults that I have not seen in other reviews thus far. Not trying to brag for a friend or anything but it is really one of the better ones I have read.

I'm very excited for Killzone 2 and a few other releases this year like God of War 3. That was also a good read on the comparison with the 360 sales. I still think the PS3 will win out over the Xbox in the end but my problem is even though year to year the ps3 is wining. Right now and since the start of the holiday season the 360 on a week to week basis worldwide is still beating the PS3 and Sony needs to do something about that.
