Uum...how is the Dualshock's d-pad gimped?

Sucks for dragon punches, Zangiefs 360 or any Z like motion. Mostly due to the fact you only have access to up, down, left and right. I guess it really depends what you are used to playing with. Anyone can be good with any pad if they practise.

A lot of people consider the Sega Saturn pad as the best pad ever made becuase its really sensitive and has all 8 directions exposed as well as 6 buttons on the front. I agree with this and have paid over 150 bucks to be able to use my saturn pad on the 360. Even Madkaz said that they used the saturn pad as a base for the SF4 controllers...

Why are you returning your copy? and the d-pad on the saturn trumps all but that being said i have a saitek controller which is the shape of the dualshock with the d-pad of a saturn controller. in short worlds best pad.

I'll take an arcade stick over a dpad anyday.

I didn't think I'd be as pumped about street fighter 4 as I am. Must resist....

Couldn't care less about the graphics difference between the two versions, they look 99% the same. Boo friggen hoo.
